Want to paddle Big Lake, the Sturgeon River or North Saskatchewan River without the hassle of transporting your own boat and equipment? Then leave it to us and choose from one of our current routes however all options are highly dependent on water levels/conditions throughout the Season.

THE MIGHTY STURGEON SHALL RISE
The Sturgeon river stretches 260km's from Hoople Lake all the way to the North Saskatchewan River.
The river's flow varies with the seasons and the amount of precipitation received. There are a number of routes that are only available for short amounts of time per year based on the water height.

BIG LAKE & RIEL RECREATION PARK
Big Lake is about 8 km in length and 3 km at its widest point. The lake offers one of only three birdsfoot deltas in Alberta.
The Sturgeon Rivers flows into the North side of Big Lake and eventually heads East through St. Albert.
The Riel Recreation Park Dock in St. Albert gives you non motorized boat access to Big Lake and the Sturgeon River.
We off private group bookings that include drop off and pick up of the equipment.
We offer private group paddles for 8 to 20 people. Enjoy the beauty of the North Saskatchewan River and take in all the sights while Canoeing, or Kayaking. Our team will provide you with all the equipment you need for a fun and safe experience.
